Background
Ira B. Toback,MD was born and educated in New York City, attending Stuyvesant HS and Brooklyn College. He went to the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium to study medicine. He retuned to Brooklyn to do his residency at Brooklyn Jewish Hospital spending one year as Chief Resident.
He entered a pediatric practice in Syosset in 1979 and moved to its present location in Hicksville in 1985. He lives in Woodbury with his wife Janet and they have raised two children, David and Heather.
