Background

Dr. Shaer graduated from Mount Sinai School of Medicine.  She completed a pediatrics residency at Albert Einstein / Montefiore Medical Center and was chief resident at Jacobi Medical Center.  She is a board certified pediatrician and breastfeeding medicine specialist.  Dr. Shaer has founded the first breastfeeding medicine practice on Long Island.
