Dr. Monica Melamedoff is a board certified pediatrician, and is a
member in good standing of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
She has been in private pediatric practice in Nassau County since
1988. Dr. Melamedoff received her medical degree from the
University of Buenos Aires in 1978. As a medical student,
while working in the outskirts of Buenos Aires taking care of
underserved children, Dr. Melamedoff understood the tremendous
challenge involved in the care of children. She continued her
Pediatric training at the Nassau County Medical Center. In
addition to her practice, Dr. Melamedoff is an attending physician
at North Shore Hospital at Manhasset, Plainview Hospital, and
Schneider's Children's Hospital. She is a member of Schneider's
voluntary teaching staff as well. She is a published
researcher.
