Dr. Berman completed her undergraduate training at Emory University. She is a graduate of the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine where she achieved honors. After completing her residency in pediatrics at Schneider's Children Hospital at Long Island Jewish, she underwent 3 years of intensive training in Pediatric Gastroenterology at North Shore University Hospital. Dr. Berman is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She recently chaired the membership committee of the Nassau Pediatric Society.
