Monica Melamedoff, MD, FAAP
Dr. Melamedoff received her medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires in 1978. As a medical student, working in the outskirts of Buenos Aires, Dr. Melamedoff understood the tremendous challenge involved in taking care of underserved children. She continued her Pediatric training at the Nassau University Medical Center. In addition to her practice, Dr. Melamedoff is an attending physician at North Shore Hospital at Manhasset, Plainview Hospital, and Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center. She is a member of Cohen's voluntary teaching staff as well.
Dr. Melamedoff is a published researcher and has been the recipient of the Top Pediatrician Award by the Consumer Research Council in Washington, DC, and has recieved the American Medical Association's Physician Recognition Award. . |

pediatric practice in Nassau County since 1988.
