Gary S. Mirkin, MD

Dr. Gary S. Mirkin grew up in Ohio.  He graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Microbiology in 1979.  He then went on to The Ohio State University College of Medicine, which he completed in 3 years, graduating in 1982.

Dr. Mirkin completed his residency in Pediatrics at The New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical Center from 1982-1985.  He has been board certified in Pediatrics since 1989 and has a special interest in dealing with infectious disease and autism.

Dr. Mirkin belongs to the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons and has been practicing in Little Neck and Great Neck since 1985.

When he is not devoting his time to his obligations as CEO of Allied Pediatrics, Dr. Mirkin enjoys cycling.  For the past four years, he has completed the 62 mile Mansion Ride for Autism and has also taken part in three NYC Century Bike Tours.
