Daphne Capon, MD, FAAP
 Dr. Daphne Capon grew up in Smithtown, New York. She received her Bachelor of
Arts degree Summa Cum Laude from Hamilton College and her M.D. degree from the
SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse in 1989.
Dr. Capon completed her Pediatric Internship and
Residency at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island and was honored to be
appointed as Pediatric Chief Resident. She then transferred to the New York Hospital –
Cornell Medical Center, where she completed two years of specialty training in
Pediatric Endocrinology. Dr. Capon is Board Certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of
the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Capon also volunteers her time as a consultant to the
local public school and a local Preschool. She lives in Woodmere with her
husband and three children.
