Daniel Miner, MD, FAAP

Dr. Daniel Miner received his M.D. degree from The Medical College of Virginia.  He received his training in Pediatrics at the University of Michigan Medical Center.

Dr. Miner is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has been board certified in pediatrics since 1981.  He has always had a special interest in behavioral and parenting issues and received additional training in these areas at the Harvard-Affiliated Touchpoints Project in Boston.  Dr. Miner is a recognized authority in these fields and was featured on the television show “Brazelton on Parenting” which was seen nationwide on the Fox Family Channel in 1999 and 2000.  Dr. Miner has been quoted in Babytalk Magazine and on the Parenting.com website.

Dr. Daniel Miner has been with ProKids since 2007.  Prior to joining ProKids, Dr. Miner had a thriving solo practice in Merrick, NY, for over 20 years.  Dr. Miner lives in Merrick with his two teenage sons.
